Just popped by to say a massive thank you for your efforts getting everything right for yesterday! Fantastic course and some of the best marshalling i’ve ever seen – all the water and fuel stations were well stocked and well manned! Given the weather challenges you faced- you can be mightily proud of the high class event you put on – congratulations there are some things you’ll learn for next year but a first time event 10/10
Dear MK Marathon, Having completed the first MK marathon yesterday in very bad weather conditions I would like to thank every marshall on the course and every one that helped with the whole setting up of this race. Dear Sirs I have been meaning to e-mail you before but life just takes over. I wanted to let you know that MK was my first marathon and although the weather conditions were truly awful, I had a successful, confident run and would like to thank everyone involved with the organisation of the event, especially the stewards who stood in that weather for hours getting colder than the runners. I would definately recommend this event to any runner and sincerely hope that you repeat the experience next year.

Just a short note to say ‘well done’ on the first MK marathon. It was on the whole, well organised. The marshalls / volunteers were brilliant and I was amazed at the support on the course given the weather! It was great to finish in a stadium like that. The drinks stops were excellent. Thanks – book some nice weather next time please!!
I just wanted to write & thank you for putting on the MK marathon. I enjoyed my day and although I was a bit disappointed to miss a sub 3 on my marathon debut by a mere 23 seconds I left with a feeling of great satisfaction. Clearly the weather presented challenges & hampered the ‘festival’ feel you had hoped for, but the team of marshalls & the spectators were magnificent. I hope the race goes from strength to strength.
Hi. Despite the awful weather I would like to say a massive thank you to all marshalling staff and drink station staff who were vocal in their support. It had a huge effect on some of us who at times were flagging. They are a credit to you. The race was also enjoyable and well organised. Thank you so much.
Thank you! Having travelled from Twickenham, Middlesex for the first Milton Keynes Marathon I have to say I am very impressed, Well done. Thank you to all those involved, I thought it was very well organised, the support was amazing, hydration perfect and portaloo’s available. I do hope that this is the first of many to come. I just wanted to let you know what a great race it was yesterday, my first marathon and in those conditions I was dreading it, but in the end had a strangely enjoyable experience! It was largely helped by the amazing marshalls and spectators who did a great job in such horrible weather. Now want to do it again and beat my time and so see you next year! Many thanks.
Just wanted to let you know that MK 2012 marathon was the first marathon that I had ever ran. I guess I can’t compare the organisation of the marathon to any others but I thought that it was brilliant! Although it was on a very challenging day I loved every minute of it!
