For the fourth consecutive year, Brioche Pasquier will be sponsoring the MK Marathon Superhero Fun Run. Following on from the success of previous years, Brioche Pasquier is keen to once again promote this incredible event throughout the local community.
Taking place on Sunday 3rd May, the race offers people of all ages and abilities the chance to get active and have fun in a relaxed sporting environment. Run over a much shorter distance, the Superhero Fun Run is a vibrant addition to the MK Marathon program with participants encouraged to dress up as their favourite superheroes for the day. This only adds to the warm family atmosphere. Cheered on by thousands of excited spectators, the Fun Run gives everybody the opportunity to experience the thrill of crossing the finish line in Stadium MK.
Brioche Pasquier will be on hand to distribute free samples of their delicious PITCH, one of their most popular products. These soft brioche rolls come either filled with velvety smooth chocolate or generously sprinkled with chocolate chips. Both varieties are individually wrapped so perfect for on the go or children’s lunchboxes.
“We are delighted to once again be sponsoring the Superhero Fun Run said Olivier Ripoche Managing Director of Brioche Pasquier UK. “The race is an excellent example of local people coming together to participate in sport whilst having fun regardless of their ability. We are very aware that physical activity can help transform lives so we are keen to promote sport throughout the local area over the next few years”.
The Superhero Fun Run is just another example of Brioche Pasquier’s commitment to sport throughout Milton Keynes. Earlier this year, the traditional French bakery announced a two-year partnership with the MK Dons Sports and Educational Trust. The ‘SET’ as it is more commonly known focuses on providing educational and sporting opportunities to people throughout the city. In addition to this, Brioche Pasquier has also supported Team Superschools for over six years. This initiative is led by Olympic Champion Jason Gardener and aims to deliver inspirational workshops to schoolchildren across the country.
Andy Hully, MK Marathon Race Director said…
“We are ecstatic to have Brioche Pasquier back on board this year. Having the support of such a well-known global brand means we can continue to provide a brilliant event for families throughout Milton Keynes. I am very excited for the race and cannot wait to see everybody getting involved”
