Join other runners on the Daytona Motorsport starting grid, enjoy two beautiful lakes, and share the last six miles of the marathon route with music every mile! Finish your Turing 10k experience in our spectacular Stadium and stay for the fun in the Race Village.

Our event is named in honour of Alan Turing, the English mathematician, and pioneer of theoretical computer science. Turing was based at Bletchley Park near Milton Keynes during WWII and was instrumental in breaking the German Enigma code.

RACE ROUTE

ELEVATION CHART: HERE


RACE HQ: Daytona Motorsport, Rooksley, Dansteed Way, Milton Keynes MK13 8NP. You can be dropped off at the start, but there will be no parking at Daytona.

PARKING + BUSES: Please park in Central Milton Keynes see map. We have an agreement with MK Council to allow you to park at the centre before the 8:30 am parking restriction. You will need to pay by phone using RingGo, location code 8694. This can be pre-booked to set the parking to start at 8.30 am. To enable you to use the RingGo service you must first pre-register your details with RingGo, this can be done on-line at www.myRingGo.co.uk

When you have parked your car, make your way to the bus stop in Elder Gate near the train station (see map A) where we will have private buses to take you to the Daytona start area.

  • 09:45 – 10:45: Buses run from the Elder Gate to Daytona.

When you are ready to get a bus back to Elder Gate then just go to the bus stop (see map B) by DW Fitness First.

  • 12:00 – 17:00: Buses run from the stadium back to Elder Gate

TOILETS: There will be toilets at the start, at water stops and again at the finish.

BAGGAGE: Remove the baggage tag from the bottom of your race number and securely attach it to your kit bag. Take your bag to the baggage truck at Daytona and they will transport it the Stadium Arena where you finish. Some of our runners might travel faster than our baggage truck, so please be aware that your bag might not be available to collect straight away.

WATER: There will be two water stops en route and water at the finish.

CHIP TIMING: Runner Numbers will incorporate a timing chip on the reverse. Results will be available live when you finish the race. You will also receive a text with your finish time shortly after you finish.

ENGLAND ATHLETICS LICENCE: License ID: applied for

ENTERTAINMENT: There will be music every mile and a full line up of acts on the stage in the Race Village at the stadium.

MEDAL: Our medal is inspired by Alan Turing who built a computer to decode the Enigma machine.

One weekend. Two days of running. Three times the bling!

Runners who participate in both the Rocket 5K on Saturday and the 10K, Half, Marathon or Relay on Sunday will receive a third medal – the MK Challenge Medal.

AWARDS: The presentation of the race awards will take place at 11:55 on the stage in the Race Village. Awards for: First 3 Men and First 3 Ladies

MINIMUM AGE: The minimum age for participants is 15 on race day. Under 18’s must be entered by an adult.

Terms and Conditions of Entry: All runners must be medically fit to compete and enter at their own risk and the organisers will in no way be held responsible for any injury, accident, loss or damage that may arise before, during or after the event as a consequence of my participation in this race. Once you have entered you can transfer your place to another runner, however, there are no refunds or deferrals. No dogs or wheels allowed.
