Hurry, or you’ll miss out!
Now is your last chance to book your spot at the MK Marathon Fitness Clinic 2019, on 11 February, with renowned UK Athletics coach Nick Anderson.
If you’re running a race at the Rightmove MK Marathon Weekend on 5 or 6 May, the Clinic is the perfect place to prepare, giving you direct access to experts offering valuable advice on training, running, nutrition and recovery.
For just £10, you’ll get face-to-face support and information, as well as the chance to ask your burning questions in a Q&A session. Plus, you’ll receive a High5 nutrition pack containing samples and information, which in itself is worth £10!
The event sells out every year, so if you want a space, you’ll have to be quick! Taking place at David Lloyd Leisure at Newlands near Willen Lake, 7pm-9.30pm, the MK Marathon Clinic 2019 will also be a chance to meet other runners and share motivational tips and experiences with each other.
Qualified endurance coach, nutritionist and sports therapy practitioner Nick Anderson will talk on subjects including: tapering and race day – how to get it right; how to train in a busy world; and nutrition and hydration – fuelling performance and recovery. He will also share his top tips and take questions from the floor.
Nick will be joined by MRace Director and Founder Andy Hully speaking about the event weekend itself, and BMI The Saxon Clinic with a talk on avoiding injuries and recovering from surgery.
Andy said: “We want to share our expertise and knowledge with you to support you with your marathon training in the coming months. Taking on a marathon is no mean feat but, equipped with all the information you can get your hands on, you’ll be in the best position to ace it on the day! We hope to see you at the Clinic.”
