MK Food Bank is a local charity established in 2004, which provides food parcels and support to the community of Milton Keynes.

In 2023 we distributed 35,382 food parcels and this year we expect this number to rise significantly. Luckily, we have never had to turn anyone away thanks to our supportive community here in Milton Keynes.

In the UK, 120 people die by suicide every week. We are working to change that. We do know that suicides can be prevented with timely intervention and anyone can learn these life-saving skills. We can all reduce the stigma around suicide by campaigning for change and talking about it openly.

At Harry’s Rainbow we provide various services designed to ensure that bereaved children are supported throughout the grieving process. Through the provision of books and resources, individually tailored memory boxes and activities that promote wellbeing by building confidence and self-esteem.  By bringing these families together with others who have also suffered a bereavement can also reduce the feeling of isolation and loneliness.  In Milton Keynes alone, on average 100 families suffer a loss each year, leaving 170 children to grieve alone.  We are here to do our very best to make sure that doesn’t continue to happen.

Kate’s Home Nursing provides professional, compassionate, specialist nursing ‘hospice at home’ care, at a time that can often be an emotional and frightening time for patients and families alike.

Our bank of experienced Registered Nurses provide expert nursing care for people in the last stage of illness who wish to die at home. We seek to ensure the best possible pain relief and symptom control. We also provide much-needed respite for the patient’s family or carer.
