Rightmove is looking for runners of all abilities to lace up and run the Rightmove MK Marathon Weekend as part of our ‘On the Move’ team.

Joining the movement could not be easier. Runners of all abilities are invited to pick a distance and a fundraising target that works best for you. You’ll even get to run in the same team as double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes!

The weekend event takes place in Milton Keynes on 2-3 May 2020 and runners can take part in either a 5k run, a half marathon, or the full 26.2-mile marathon.

Will you run with us and help change lives?

Our ‘On the Move’ team is raising money for two incredible charities – Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) and Harry’s Rainbow.

As a thank you for helping us support these two causes, we’ll offer team members free entry to the race as well as our post-race ‘On the Move’ sanctuary where runners can relax, rest, eat, and be pampered like true heroes.

You’ll also be invited to a very special pre-race team talk with ‘On the Move’ ambassador & Olympic gold medalist Dame Kelly Holmes.

Kelly will share inspiring stories from the world of athletics and will be on hand to offer expert advice on how to get the best out of your body. Team runners will also walk away with an exclusive signed copy of her new book.

Kelly said: “I’m really excited to be a supporter of Rightmove’s ‘On the Move’ team, offering my support to their growing movement of runners and fundraisers who will be running in the Rightmove MK Marathon on May 3rd, 2020.

Sounds good so far? Find out more about our chosen charities:

We’ll be fundraising for two amazing charities in 2020. You can pick which one you’d like to run for:

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM): CALM is a mental health charity with a difference – offering lifesaving services, provoking national conversation and bringing people together to empower everyone to reject living miserably. On average, 125 people in the UK take their own life every week, with 75% of these being male deaths. CALM runs a free and anonymous helpline and webchat service from 5 pm to midnight 365 days a year, taking over 10,000 calls and web chats every month. In 2018, they directly prevented 675 suicides.

Harrys Rainbow: Harry’s Rainbow is an independent charity local to Milton Keynes. Founded by Odette after she lost her seven-year-old son, the charity was set up to support bereaved children that have lost a parent or sibling; a service she felt was missing in Milton Keynes but desperately needed for Harry’s brother & sister. They offer essential support groups, counseling, and even family getaways around significant dates, particularly birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas.
